The Second Editing is Finished!

I just got through have the second editing done on the book.  Now I am going for two more by "regular" folks who will gauge the readability and interest level. I also have to get my citations in place and bibliography written.  I am going to also be listing sites that have this type of jewelry as typical, so people can go out and find this jewelry if they wish to. Still some work to do, but polishing, polishing so that it is a good read and informative guide.

The Galley Proofs Are Almost Finished!

Finally, I am almost finished reading and editing the galley proofs for my first book.  I am having two or three friends go through and help edit and it is an interesting process.  Usually, I am the one who is the Lord High Executioner with red pen in hand.  Not this time.
I am enjoying the writing process quite a bit.  And I think I will be finishing the written proofs this weekend and will start on the photography for the book next weekend.  I think I can get the entire shoot completed in two days and have the book primed and ready to send off the next Wednesday. So excited!
